Vero V
AV Receiver Denon X2500h
7.1 Surround Back
Front L+R and Centre speaker, rear sides and back + subwoofer.
I’m finding the sound different compared to when I had it setup with Odroid N2 and coreelec. I’ve tried to match the same settings and using same HDMI cable and connection to AV receiver. I think the sound is specially different when playing DV files but I didn’t have this option with Odroid.
Is anyone with similar setup able to advise me on settings.
Thanks
Rich
If you have passthrough enabled (make sure you settings view are set to expert to see all passthrough options) then your audio will be sent to your AVR without any modification. Are you using the same input on your AVR for both devices? That receiver has per input audio settings so perhaps you have them set using different processing modes. Did your other device have passthrough enabled so the AVR was doing the decoding?
I have passthrough enabled and the Vero V has replaced my Odroid N2 so not using that device anymore. Plugged into the same hdmi the Odroid N2 previously used.
All HDMI connections for audio/video. I don’t think there is any issues with the Vero V just possibly some different settings enabled to I previously had with coreelec. I will study the Wiki. Thanks for your help.
