Remote control stops working after tuning scrambled channel on TVHeadend

Hi,
I’ve installed the latest version of OSMC, then after many tries to get TVHeadend works well on my Raspberry Pi2, I’m on the same issue.

When I try to change channel, if I tuning on a scrambled channel, even if SD or HD channel, the remote control stops to working. After many many tries to stop play of the channel I can use agaim my remote control. If I use an USB keyboard, it works like a charm. There is some issue with Lirc Daemon.

Are you using a USB based receiver? Perhaps isochronous DVB transfer

  • Ethernet + LIRC is too much for the device…

Maybe you’re right… But why if I use keyboard USB all things works fine?

Don’t know – it may be a problem with the remote you’re using.

I didn’t have this problem using the official OSMC remote, but have had problems when testing a Hama MCE remote.

sudo apt-get install usbutils && lsusb -V would let us know more and possibly let us give some advice.

So here the result of your command:

osmc@osmc:~$ sudo apt-get install usbutils && lsusb -V

So… What I’ve done?

So, I’ve chacked the remote control of my TV in CEC mode through HDMI cable. The TV is a 32" LG. I’ve tried cec-client and I don’t get any code for Exit button, useful with Compliance Theme. Any suggestions for a back function?
