Remote not functioning

Hi all,

i received my Vero 4k today but i can not get the remote to work. I tried the USB-Key in both USB-Ports and repairing the remote as described in Vero 4k slow remote control response - #4 by sam_nazarko, but the light of the remote does not start flashing when the USB-Key is plugged in again. It just keeps lit for some seconds and then goes off. Any hints what i can try next?

After rebooting for several times the remote has started working. Thanks anyway.
