Hello,
my remote stopped working. I did several reboots, tried the pairing procedure, but nothing. I can see that the IR diode is blasting (checked with camera).
I do see a meson-ir-event device under /dev/input, but reading from it yields nothing, even if I terminate eventlircd.
What do I do?
The remote isn’t IR based and doesn’t use LIRC. I suggest uploading a log

Did you try a cold reboot ? (power cycle) ?
Yes, I pulled the power adapter multiple times before even posting here 
Your internal remote control dongle isn’t showing up (2017:1690 gets no matches in the system log). I’d suggest to contact support@osmc.tv with your order number and a link to this thread.
