I have two Vero 4k+.
One has remote where some of the keys (up,down, left, right) stop working after some time (maybe minutes or days), reinserting the USB receiver resolves this for a random period of time.
The other has a totally broken receiver (there are USB errors in the log), I switched the two dongles around repaired the remote and it worked.
What do I need to order to replace the dongle?
I have the same question.
What is the dongle? Is it just a standard wifi dongle or do I need a specific dongle for the 4k?
If it’s not under warranty anymore, you can just buy a new OSMC remote/dongle at the OSMC store.
£18 is allot to replace the USB dongle
Email support@osmc.tv with your order number and a link to a set of logs. The logs would be needed to identify which version of the remote you have as there has been multiple revisions over the years. If you have the last version of the remote that shipped with the 4K Sam might still have some replacement dongles available. If the remote is older than that then I can tell you for sure that he does not have any more replacement dongles for those and he can’t source more of those even if he wanted to.
Agreed. Do keep in mind that Vero 4K/4K+ is EOL by the end of the year, so it may now be a good time to upgrade.

I responded to your email. Sorry to hear that you lost your dongles.
Unfortunately after 7 years we won’t stock that model of dongle anymore.
