Resolution Settings New Vero V

I have set up and updated a new Vero V (first time user for the platform)

My issue is setting up the proper resolution

Vero V available resolutions in Kodi
720x480 59.94
1280x720 59.94
1280x720 60.00

TCL 75Q650G UHD 4K 2160
specs
3840x2160 UHD 4K 2160
HDR10, 10+ Dolby Vision, HLG
48-60hz

I purchased this for the HDR as my Win set up had the resolution but not HDR.
I assumed the Vero V would allow the proper settings out of the box but as you see the selection does not mach the capability of the TV. My HDMI cable is proper for what I am trying to achieve.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Yes, you are! You are missing an EDID from your TV. Try a different HDMI cable and/or clean the contacts of the cable with contact cleaner. If no change, try a different HDMI input on the TV.

As Graham says, it seems like the EDID isn’t being parsed.

Don’t just try another cable but also test the device on a good known port on the TV that you’ve used another device with.

Cheers

Sam

Thanks guys,
Cleaned the ports, tried all ports but the earc. Then tested a new cable. Which was to short for permanent use. All modes available.
That was it, bad cable. First one I have had fail. It was about 4 or 5 years old.
Looks like I am fishing a cable through the wall this weekend.

Thanks again!
