RPi B+ Crashes On Boot

Here’s what happens:

I power on the Pi by plugging it in. (tried multiple cords and outlets)
It boots to the splash screen with the OSMC logo.
Then, there’s some image blur and aliasing, after which OSMC crashes. The Pi then displays both LED lights lit, red and green both.

It worked perfectly fine a week or so ago, came to wake it up and it was off. So i tried to turn it on and this has now been happening for about a week or two.

Do you have ssh access at this point?

I have no idea how I’d go about testing that. I don’t even know the IP as it doesn’t power on to a point where I can control it.

has it ever booted and operated properly?

Sure has. I’d used it for maybe two or three months before it stopped working.

Well, you can try accessing it via it’s hostname OSMC or you can look in your router’s DHCP clients for its IP.

If this helps at all, I just booted it again and on the splash screen I got a few error code thingies:

kernel bug at block/bfq-iosched.c:494! modules linked in: nfs uio-pdrv-genirq uio fuse ipv6

If you have a spare SD card I’d try writing a new image to it and see if that works okay. Any time I’ve seen people with kernel errors it’s been due to file system corruption.
