Our kernel releases are independent of Raspbian ones.
We will update soon, but there are more important things to take care of first.

incase you missed reading what OSMC bases on its Debian not raspbian again the firmware could be newer but its stable rather have a stable kernel then a kernel that panics.
Ops… I didn’t realize that this kernel was concerning Raspian
