decided I would do the update for osmc on my apple tv 1. The downloading of the update went fine but when it was time to install, it gave up after 51%. After it gave up the apple tv restarted with the sad face error. I was looking online and individuals were saying not to upgrade osmc on the apple tv 1 because it isn’t supported as much. Im able to ssh with putty/winscp to my apple tv, I have the logs http://paste.osmc.io/sasoboseni. I even tried removing “Addons27” to see if it would fix things but didnt do a thing. Can anyone help me, i would like to get osmc back up and running without resulting to having to do a fresh install
Did you try to update manually?
sudo apt-get install update
sudo apt-get install dist-upgrade
