I just replaced my NAS and the new one doesn’t have an anonymous account. So I have ti specify a user name and password. But I cannot find any settings on how to do that.
How do I set the user name and password for the share?
Take a look at an existing source and take note of the file path. Add a new source, click browse, then select the “add network location” option. You will then add just the ip address or machine name that you are using with your existing sources for the server name (do not add the protocol or the entire file path) and then your credentials in their respective fields. Once you click OK then there should be a new location in that browse window. If when you click on that you can see your files then your existing sources should now use the same credentials. You can then cancel out of all those screens as you don’t need a new source.
