I have a vero and happy with it. I ‘d like that my tv remote samsung nrz works with it using CEC.
At the moment it is not working at all even if cec is enabled on the tv and on osmc.
Do I have to disable the standard osmc remote ? How I do that ?
ON my TV we can configure the remote to work with home cinema playstation, I tried some but nothing works
I’ve also unplug both tv and osmc …
At the same time I notice as well that when waching a movie and stop doing it, when the screen come back on the osmc gui it keeps the resolution of the movie.
Any idea as well ?
I can create some log but do I have to reboot osmc for the cec connection ?
The OSMC remotes operate completely independent of CEC or other types of remotes so there would be no reason or benefit to disable the internal receiver.
It sounds like you may have set your refresh rate switching setting to “on start”. The setting is in settings>player>video> and you would want to set it to “always” or “on start/stop”.
In addition to trying a different HDMI cable as fzinken suggested, you could also try switching CEC off and then on on your display and double check in Kodi your CEC settings at settings>system>input>peripherals> and make sure it is still enabled there.
