Wanted to watch some christmas movies with friends and family and ran into a huge problem. I hadn’t touched my 4k+ in a while and it offered the latest update. After a restart following the update I got a sad face, restart and everything is now covered in pink lines.
I can still make out the image on the screen and things play, but the colors are wrong and mostly that pink mist.
I tried resetting kodi (reset on next restart), did not fix it.
Can I reset or roll the device back to at least save the evening and try figuring out things later? THANKS for any suggestions!
edit: was probably one of my samsung TVs bdwise or similar settings, cycled on/off all of them in desperation and after another power on the 4k+ showed normal colors, phew…
