Screensaver slideshow from google drive folder for OSMC

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to get OSMC screensaver folder to point to a public Google drive directory where I have stored some jpgs in order to play them as a slideshow screensaver. I do not want to use the google drive plugin to access the google account where the pictures are stored.

I did try pointing to the google drive directory, but the images aren’t showing up. I only get 7 big dots rotating on my screen which I think indicates that the images aren’t accessible to OSMC.

This is something I have wondered as well, there is a plugin for dropbox, but it would be handy if there was a way for google drive.
