Simple way to back up User Data / Settings?

Not sure if this is going in the right place, if its not I apologize.

Is there a simple way to back up your settings (sources/shortcuts/settings etc)?
I can see it would be good to have one if a reinstall were ever needed.
I did search but didn’t turn up any answers specifically for RPi2 & OSMC.

Backup /home/osmc/.kodi directory. That should take care of pretty much everything.

There’s also a nice simple to use program add-on called backup that is use and it works well. You can select exactly what you want to backup, chose a file path or Dropbox account and scheduled it to auto backup whenever you want
