Hello there, after update I’m stuck here. Tried hard reboot, same. No big deal, I can reinstall to 2018.12 and update again
Can you try logging in without text - blindly? It should solve itself as soon as you’re at the home screen.
This issue has to be fixed. Will look into it.
Log in? I did not have to log in before. Should I ssh in?
Btw I did use custom background color and opacity
yes, if you’re familiar with an editor like vi or nano, change the file
/home/osmc/.kodi/userdata/profiles.xml
Try replace the line in the beginning
<useloginscreen>true</useloginscreen>
to
<useloginscreen>false</useloginscreen>
Addition: And restart the mediacenter or the whole box of course.

Worked, thanks. After first reboot I got smiley, but then it booted OK
