Sliming Down the OSMC image & atvclient

I know this isn’t what you’d usually do with OSMC

Got a few Apple TV’s lying around and have imaged two of them directly to the hard drive , everything seams to be working fine

However I want to run them as headless servers , have disabled kodi from starting at boot however I see in “top” that there is a atvclient running , can I safely disable this too , if so how ?

Regards
Dan

IIRC it’s still an init.d script, so you can use update-rc.d to change the runlevel symlinks and stop it from starting

I also note I’m getting a lot of E: Unable to locate package errors when trying to install things via apt-get , would switching to the x86 debian repositories help or make the whole install fail?

We use the Debian repositories already.
