Slow download speed on vero 4K

hi all,
I’m experiencing really slow download speed on my vero 4K, 20/5MBit/s basically (with speedtest-cli).

Is there any way to debug/fix this? It was not the case previously, but I just started to see that things are buffering much more and i think this is the issue.

thx!

Some logs would help.

What’s the actual speed of your connection?

thanks Sam,

this is the output when i test it:

I have an 500/250Mbit internet line that is working fine on other devices but the OSMC.

From what source? As Sam advised, logs would be more helpful than anything.

any guess why a raspberry pi from the same network can do almost 100/100Mbit/s with speedtest-cli and osmc can do only 20/5? Even when i’m not streaming anything this is the speed I get with the command line tool.

No. We’ll need to see logs to give any useful debug advise.

If this is a Vero 4K and not a + model, then the iperf speeds are as expected and this isn’t a hardware or software issue. There will likely be a problem with the source of playback.

Did you check Speedtest was using the same mirror for both tests on each device?
