[Solved] Apt-get weird dependency?

I don’t need nano, because I use vi.

Funny thing is, that when I uninstalled nano, it tried to uninstall several packages, that shouldn’t have any connection to nano:

Start-Date: 2015-03-20 20:22:20
Commandline: apt-get autoremove --purge nano
Purge: nano:armhf (2.2.6-3), sudo:armhf (1.8.10p3-1+deb8u2), busybox:armhf (1.22.0-9+deb8u1), armv7-irqbalance-osmc:armhf (1.0.8-6), fake-hwclock:armhf (0.8), rbp2-device-osmc:armhf (1.1.0), module-init-tools:armhf (18-3)

If that is OK, than fine, otherwise, I’m just raising awareness. :smile:

That’s because nano is part of Busybox, don’t remove it!!

Guess that would break your system.

It’s not, but it’s part of the device metapackage.

Don’t remove it.
