Use GParted for simplicity.

To expand on this, use Gparted from a different Linux system, not from within OSMC. If you don’t have a Linux system you can use a Virtualbox VM or boot from a Linux live usb, see pendrivelinux.com for a wide variety of choices

cool thanks. I just tried the live gparted boot cd and it kernel panicked and nearly killed my win10 laptop from booting(back now just about!) ended up using SystemRescue - System Rescue Homepage
to run gparted via startx… worked beautifully!

I installed osmc on 8gb sd card and clone it 1:1 to 64gb.

How can I resize the partition? “touch /storage/.please_resize_me” doesn´t work…

Did you get the solution?
Can you expand the file system within osmc itself, or you have to take help of another operating systerm to resize your memory card?
