[SOLVED] IQaudio no sound after january 2018 update

I have suddenly no sound after the january 2018 update (for reference I was one of the early testers of the stretch so I migrated to that some months ago).

in dmesg I have a lot of muting going on?!?

aplay -l looks normal:

Anyone else with same issue, or is it just me?

SOLUTION: turn off and clean a bit, maybe related to something touching gpio22…

How can i install the previous kernel, to test if that is the difference on my system?

edit: just tried “4.9.29-13-osmc”, and same issue, so maybe not the update then but something on my side… I guess next off is antoher image on the same system.

fair guess, I’ll check, but the muting in dmesg in top post was due to me trying “auto_mute_amp” in config.txt… now “unmute_amp” it is not there anymore. And as far as I can read is the “pcm512x 1-004c: No SCLK, using BCLK: -2” also something people see in dmesg when working normal, so probably not related…

HA! thanks @paulwebster… turned it off and blew som dust off, and now it is playing?!? weird stuff, but good thing it was not osmc related :slight_smile:
