[SOLVED] My RF remote has stopped working after migration to Kodi v17

I too have that remote, I did the following to fix it:

  1. download putty (via google)
  2. find the IP address your OSMC is using via system info
  3. open putty, enter IP address, it will ask for username and password = osmc (for both)
  4. add the following line: sudo systemctl disable eventlircd then press enter and exit.
  5. reboot your osmc system.
