Did you try the recent suggestion I made to @thansen_dk anyway?
I know you tried it before, but can you try the rc.local approach?

I have the exact same problem. It’s been going on for a while but it gets more and more annoying though. Most of the time I have no audio and I need to press Stop. I restart the video and the audio is back.
I can see my receiver switching audio format a couple of times and I either get the audio or not.
You are responding to a post that’s a year old, so it’s very unlikely that you are having the same issue.
Of course without logs there is no way anyone will be able to even attempt to help you.
