i have a jbl bar 5.1 with detachable speakers. this bar supports only dts and dolby.
which check marks do i need to activate in the sections ‘sound’?. i’ve selected already ‘passthrough’.
do i need choose 5.1 settings? or leave it on 2.0? i thought changing this can cause some trouble.
With passthrough, it doesn’t matter how many channels you set. If you have connected the JBL via HDMI and it supports PCM multi-channel sound (it would be unusual if it didn’t) then you should set channels to 5.1. Have a look here:
