Spotify - No sound

Hi everyone…

So I have marcelveldt’s Spotify Addon version 1.1.58 on my Vero 4k Kodi 18.9. I have the Spotify premium account. It has worked extremely well for two years. However since the recent Vero update there is no sound. Everything else is the same basic layout with all my playlists but all I get is a slight “pop” noise when I try to play it. There is no sound from the HDMI direct or audio jack. I have played around with several audio settings and installed all sorts of versions from the marcelveldts repo and still no joy.

Should I post some logs or wait for some other advice?

Do you still hear audio normally for everything else?

Hey Sam…yes, sorry, everything else is great…all TV shows/Films I have stored as well as connected Humax box look and sound superb …just not Spotify.

Shall I post a log?

Looks like a “Silent Night” for me then… :pleading_face:

Try changing the audio sink under Settings -> Audio.
When you play music, does Kodi actually suggest that it is playing?

Hi Sam. I ended up re installing the system with the March 2020 one and all working great now. Only did it this afternoon but seems ok so far.

Turns out I use Spotify more now from the Vero so don’t really want to update and loose it. I’ll let you know if I have any other issues…or can post some logs if it helps others.
