Stream buffer / caching settings for 4k HDR over internet

Recently I started streaming 4k HDR over the internet, primarily using the YouTube add-on. I am using the LAN Ethernet connection on the Vero V with a maximal WAN speed of 600 Mbit/s.
I thought it might come in handy if we share our settings for both InputStream Adaptive and the OSMC system-related caching settings (Settings > Services > Caching)

InputStream Adaptive:

  • Stream selection: Manual OSD
  • Maximum Resolution: 4k
  • Maximum Resolution DRM: 4k
  • Manual stream selection mode: Videostreams
  • Ignore HDCP Status: ON
  • Expert Settings, Media Stream Type: All

InputStream Adaptive - alternative Setting:

  • Stream selection: Adaptive (default)
  • Maximum Resolution: 4k
  • Maximum Resolution DRM: 4k
  • Automatically determine initial bandwidth: OFF
  • Initial Bandwidth: 200000 kbit/s
  • Minimum Bandwidth: 10000000 kbit/s
  • Maximum Bandwidth: 80000000 kbit/s
  • Ignore HDCP Status: ON
  • Expert Settings, Media Stream Type: All

OSMC caching settings:

  • Buffer mode: All internet file systems
  • Memory size: 256 MB
  • Read Factor: 7x
  • Data block size: 256 KB

I wonder if there are better settings for a connection as I have it, and would be happy for any experiences, feedback or advice.
