I use OSMC on a Pi to run my local FM radio station. I would love to be able to create a live stream in OSMC so it would duplicate the ‘now playing’ to the internet.

Honestly if someone on github can make an addon for that, then it would be possibility. Sorry the developers never replied to you but what you can probably do is go into the Service settings and go into control and allow remote control via HTTP and mess with that or messing with UPnP / DLNA. On the “allow remote control via HTTP,” you may need to find a good web interface that can play audio on the http in which it would duplicate the ‘now playing’ to the internet.
