Subtitle addons missing after upgrade

Hi,

I upgraded to the August build (from a 2 years old version I think) and it broke my opensubtitles addon, saying it is not compatible. I removed it to reinstall it, but it looks like there is something wrong with the repo: when I open the Add-on browser and go to the “Kodi Add-on repository” the subtitles category is not there. The only categories that are listed are “Game add-ons”, “Information providers”, “Look and feel”, “Video add-ons”, “Web interface”. I think this is incomplete and I wonder how I can solve this.

I had that too. Changing opensubtitles.com to opensubtitles.org (and logging in to that) solved this for me

Go to settings>add-ons> and then open the side menu and select the check for updates option.

The update did the trick. I think I missed that in all guides and howtos I checked. The side menu is a bit of a hidden and forgotten thing.
Anyway, thx a lot for solving this.
