Hi,

is it possible to filter hearing impaired parts from subtitles automatically during playback?

From here you can see what I am after:

So what is the use case then? For me it is the following: I watch all English content with English subtitles. And the subtitles often contain also the SDH parts. It would be great to automatically filter them out.

I’m not aware of a Kodi side tweak to affect this kind of change. The easiest way to get to your end result is probably to just download subs that aren’t SDH when you run across a title that has only that type imbedded. This can be done during playback from within Kodi.
