Not expecting any direct changes regarding subtitles. But some playback improvements have been made to both platforms. I am hoping that there will be improvements across the board.
@angry.sardine, because video and UI rendering wasn’t in sync, we got those tearing effects during rendering of subtitles. Because of the audio/video sync issues I had to touch a lot of rendering code and as a side effect I hope that this subtitle rendering issue is now also solved.
Understood. What I wanted to check was if whatever it is you’ve done is present in the staging release for the Vero 4K, or whether it’s only been changed for the Vero V.
I’ve changed if for both 4k/4k+ and V. Although I have to admit, that I did more testing on the V.
When can we except to get that via the normal osmc update ?
In a few days. You can get it via the staging repository now as well.
Does the April update now has that fix implemented ?
