Sudden wired lan video stutter. All other clients play the same files without problem

Upgraded my win7 server to win10, and suddenly my movies start to stutter and pause every now and then and sometimes making it unwatchable. Using kodi on my Samsung note4 without problems. Plex on ps4 no problem. All from the same server, same file and through the same Asus router. Any help would be highly appreciated!
Also, cat5 patch cable changed just for fun…

Hi

I received your message to the Facebook OSMC page and I am sorry we missed this. There were some playback regressions on Vero 2 which caused some stuttering periodically. These have since been resolved. I would recommend you update to the latest version of My OSMC. You can do this via My OSMC -> Updater.

If this persists, then you should enable debug logging, and upload a full set of logs via My OSMC. If you are having problems with one specific type of file, then you can post MediaInfo output so we can look at the file.

My recommendation is to try and play a file that you watched on the Vero before without any problems.

Do you have a Vero 2 or Vero 1?

Thanks

Sam

Vero 1.
Same file as before and has been working perfect until now.
Also, as stated in my previous message, I always have the latest version! Now reading June 2016.06-2
Both testfiles are mkv.

Logging leaves me this link http://paste.osmc.io/emicoyiteg

What to do?

•••

Try and upload the log again and take a photo of the URL if necessary.

I don’t see why you would experience playback issues suddenly, as the Vero 1 has been stable for some time.

You can also try installing an older version of OSMC if you remember a ‘good’ version.

MediaInfo or a small sample of the problematic MKVs may be helpful.

Sam

Are you sure that you played this file on a Vero 1 before?

The Blu-ray specification allows for a maximum of 5 reframes. Using 16 reframes is quite excessive. You should ‘source’ your files from a better uploader. It’s out of spec for BD, and increasing the # of reframes will only cause issues.

You may be able to play this on a PC but other devices (ARM) will likely struggle with this. The file is L5.1 which is quite a complex encoding profile.

Hi, and sorry for the late reply. Away on business.

Yeah, well I’m not 100% sure, but let’s do another wich I watch once a year, wich im now unable to play more than little before it looses sound an stutters like crazy.

Mediainfo coming.

The logs I can’t make work.

Episode 1 and 2 and then the switch from win 7 -> win10, and then trying to watch ep3.

Okay, this last clip should work. So let’s see what’s up.

Enable debugging in System Settings
Reboot
Try to play the clip
When it starts to stutter, press Stop and go to My OSMC -> Logs and upload all logs. Then post the URL here and I will take a look.

Sam

Picture to big, here is what was written:
http:/paste.osmc.io/pihinijexe

Please verify the link address again. We see no logs at this URL.

Yeah, what I experienced also, never got a log working.
Rezised the pic.

I can verify Internet connection as I can download subtitles.

Did you find my log now?

There is no log at the URL. It’s just blank. Try again.

Something is not right then, I we been trying at least 5 times, 3 of them to see the log for my self before asking for help. I will se if I can fetch the log from sd card or something.

I have done this several times now, but no log is posted. What to do? How do I manually copy/paste my logs from a win10? I found nothing on the sd card when reading from sd card reader on the computer.
