It would be great if the keyboard layout selection could be chosen on first startup, before having to type anything (like chosing the hostname). Coming from azerty, it was quite a pain to enter the name I wanted.
I chose a language at first startup (French in my case) but the interface didn’t inherit this setting. Someone not fluent would have had difficulties to find the good menu to change the language after startup. To be honest I don’t remember if the first startup menu itself was in French or in English after selecting the language. 
I’m using latest OSMC image for Raspberry Pi 3.
