That seems to have fixed it, it reconnects after reboot again , thanks 
Will the Bluetooth a2dp no longer work with next update?
That’s a tricky one. Sam is working on it and hopefully will find a solution before he releases the update.

I believe this is now fixed in the following two commits:

Many thanks to those who have tested this release. I have now merged the stretch-devel repository in to stretch (stable), and we plan to release this as an update on Sunday, 7th January.
I’ve now produced some test images for those that want to perform a fresh installation of Debian Stretch. I expect these to be the images served on our website on Sunday.
