May be just something at my end but when trying to update to RC3 I’m getting the following:

Try again in a few minutes. This is just a temporary problem that sometimes occurs when we push new packages to the mirror. We’re hoping to have it addressed when the next version of Mirrorbits is released.

I tried my ATV 1 on Kodi 16 RC3 upgrade, that did not work…

My putty output, previous reports were normal.:

No fix needed, most probably the used apt-mirrors are still updating, so just try again in an hour or so.
I had to try several times since yesterday for myself, and just 5 min. ago it worked.

Here everything is working apart from popcornmix addon for the visualisation for music.

I’ve just installed RC3 on my Rpi2 and it works great. However, I have spotted that AirPlay from iPhone6 running latest iOS9 is not working despite of having disabled the option (‘Enable Airplay Videos and Pictures Support’). I have switched on log debugging and tailed the logs but surprisingly nothing gets logged when I send audio from my iPhone via Music App. . Also I have tried airplay from my mac (running latest El Captitan) and it throws the following An error occurred while connecting to the AirPlay device “osmc”. An unknown error occurred (-15000). Hopefully this can be troubleshooted.

I don’t think it’s meant to work on iOS 9 now.

Playing from your Mac won’t work and isn’t expected to.

Upgrade to the latest iOS

Execute the following command for Pi 2, Vero 1 or Vero 2:

Didnt work on my RPI 2 with latest 15.2 update from feb.
I ran the command with Putty and got this result:

Your system did not update properly. You can only try the new libshairplay with the Jarvis beta

Nonetheless, I’m not particularly convinced this will resolve iOS AirPlay streaming. That’s part of the reason why we are working on more open technologies like A2DP

Hi, i’m trying the jarvis RC3 build on a RPi2, and it seems to be all working for my needs, except for non-linear stretch (i checked with a square grid video and there is no difference between non-linear stretch and force 16:9 aspect ratio).
This option is working on official jarvis build for ubuntu (checked with the same square grid video).

Just to clarify, i’m talking about the option under settings -> video -> playback -> display 4:3 video as…

I waited a long time (because I’m such a nitwit :wink:

No explosions, so far I can see everything works well. I’m really very happy with the Rpi and OSMC.

Just tried to install RC3 again after my issues the other day and I’m now getting the following:

I’m thinking this might be a problem my end as others seem to be ok but are there any suggestions as to what I can try to fix this?

Just wait a few minutes. As said before, this happens when we push new packages to the repository. We only do this for a few minutes each day, but it’s certainly possible you keep trying to update during one of these times.

We will address this in the near future.
