[TESTING] Kodi 17 (Krypton) builds for Raspberry Pi (continued)

In fact let me reflash the old build and compare API keys

Ok i’ve looked at the old logs - as there’s no issue they’re not exposing the api key in the error log. Could quite possibly be a change in key or the way the plugin is calling the endpoint that’s causing this issue.

If you browse to the api link you get Invalid API key.

Either the key has changed or there are issues on tmdb.
Not seeing errors logged on my kodi - but will do some more digging.

New commits in this build:
[rbp] Default to double buffered (e78f038d)

Plausible – TMDB had a similar issue (their key for Kodi was used for other purposes). It’s possible the same thing has happened to IMDB. In which case, check if there are updates to the add-on.

Hi GMC,

are yo able to switch skins with your latest version? When I try to choose another skin nothing is happening. And if I then restart mediacenter I get sad face.
Might not only been since the last version and I just want to check if you see the same.

Cheers

Fred

@fzinken I’ve also been having similar issues - tried out the new osmc skin and also getting a sad face. Has been a issue for as long as I can remember. Thought it was due to other skins being incompatible with v17.

Will run a few tests and see if I can isolate the issue.

Video of remote control bug:

Anyone else having the bug or trouble with TV Remote control browsing? My Kodi keeps jumping two steps every time i press any button on the remote arrow or select keys. Its also very slow and sluggish until reboot.
Only way around is to reboot RPI2, after reboot remote control works normally for a while.
Im on the build released April 24th.

Pvr addon no longer working, error cant load.
Using team media potal addon, and have a rpi2. updated to latest build this morning 16.8-065, 24 April 2016:

Logs.

http://paste.osmc.io/dicuxelaza

Hopfully you can fix it, i have no tv.

Kind regards

Bm

@bmonster update addon if no update is available downgrade to jarvis

addons are not coved by these testbuilds so its not a test build issue unless its specific to OSMC addons breakage is expected on addons.

@corb06 think that bug has been covered look in the forum for answers.

Looks like a issue with the addon - best contact the maintainer.

Unable to resolve: /pvr.mediaportal.tvserver.so.2.3.0 ADDON_Announce, reason: /usr/lib/kodi/addons/pvr.mediaportal.tvserver/pvr.mediaportal.tvserver.so.2.3.0: undefined symbol: ADDON_Announce

No worries, ill wait for a proper fix, but think ive managed a workaround, by using the windows working addon.

Ok, Ill do some more searching, but the bug seem to be still present. Updating to todays build now but I guess it wont fix this…

Nope @sam_nazarko might have some more info regarding this if you want to get in contact with him start a new thread on the issue or contact him in http://chat.osmc.tv but i think he is aware of the bug and their working on it.

I am not aware of this bug. Do we have debug logs where it happens?

Which remote are you using?

Hi,
Is there any reason that apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc = 16.8-065 doesnt work.
Its showing as cached when i run apt-cache showpkg rbp2-mediacenter-osmc

Was trying to downgrade to see if the pvr problem im having has started with v066.

Thanks.

Do not put spaces between =

What do you see when it doesn’t work?
