I did a recompile with the changes Sam mentioned - still no luck. The only skin I can change to without a reboot is Confluence. With another other skin it doesnt take effect and when rebooting I get a crash.

Hi All, please can someone help with the updating of OSMC, I am currently using a nightly build of v17. I get a notification most days saying there is an update available and as soon as i click accept it brings a message saying failed to update. It mentions something to do with âUnknown Packageâ Will upload logs below:
V17 is only for testing purpose, please donât open a separate thread for it. Just keep conversation in the testing thread.

Good night , after the last update ( 16.8-070 ) Simple IPTV addon stopped working . It is deactivated when trying to activate and returns error. Anyone else have this problem ?.
Kodi when upgrading from version 16 to 17 Kypton, addon OSMC was disabled , I enabled all dependence but the UPDATE button is not shown in the addon. this is normal?.

You will need to check with the addn maintainer. Hopefully there should be a fix soon which will then be included in the nightlies.
Iâve seen the OSMC addo update before - seems to be a common issue and will be looked into.

HI - new to OSMC - comming from openelect - also on testing.
Just updated to 16.8-071 from 068 and suddently my remote act strange. cannot go left - left acts as up.
I use remote from sonytv, and everything used to work.
Anyone know how to change this ? cant find any remote.xml or keymaps.xml under .kody
And loooove OSMC as it is more fun than openelect

Can confirm, same behaviour with my sony rm-ed053 remote since the update to the latest build.
Same problem as Andlo here. Updated to the latest version (2016.05-1) and my remote (rc6-mce)is acting weird. Left and right not working the way they should. Problem also occurs if i use the Yatse or Kodi remote app from my android phone. Other keys seem to work ok. Checked with âirwâ what codes the remote sends but those are correct. Using OSMC using a keyboard works ok, no problems there with left and wright.
Second smaller problem, the âMy OSMCâ tool/app only shows the âUpdatesâ option. All other options are gone.
Remote issues should be fixed in next build.

Tryed the 16.8-073 release of rbp2-mediacenter-osmc. Problem with the remote not working the way it should (left/right) is still present. Going back to 16.8-068 to get the remote working again normally (apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc=16.8-068).
