add-on crash log, hope its of use.
One thing I’ve notice is its random, I can click on addon sometimes and the add-on works, but more than often it will crash.

Also IMDb issue seems fixed

Why do you continue running apt-get upgrade?! We’ve stated hundreds of times that one should ONLY use dist-upgrade with OSMC.

Also, it’s unlikely we’ll be able to provide support with the sheer amount of 3rd party glut that you’ve installed. You’ll first have to prove that this issue exists on a clean install without all the rest which we will not provide support for.

No problem, I appreciate that I have a lot of 3rd party addons, and have everything backed up so will do a clean install.

Regards apt-get, it does both, dist and normal, just hadn’t updated my script, it will only do dist-upgrade now.

Perhaps it makes sense to modify apt so that upgrade works as dist-upgrade if apt-get upgrade is so wrong.

Sounds good – but we haven’t got a good solution for that yet. If you have one I am happy to accept a PR on this.

Hi everyone…i am new user here. I have few queries that way to check that update is correct is to check the
mediacenter version versus 16.8, is there any impact on addon/skins? I am using the Aeon Nox 5 Silvo and there is a Jarvis and a Krypton version. with the 16.8 and not 17.0, will all addon be able to update/run as intended?

surface mount assembly

You will want to install the Krypton version.
