Hi there,
I just gave the Leia alpha build a try, to see if I can play some SNES roms on my RP3. But that didnāt work.
Is it possible to run SNES roms at the current development stage?
What I did:
- updated to the latest dev build (17.8-268)
- moved /home/osmc/.kodi --> /home/osmc/.kodi.old to start with a clean kodi
- then I added the directory containing my ROM backups to āGamesā.
- I tried all three Emulator addons:
- Nintendo - SNES / Famicom (Beetle bsnes) --> Sad face after starting a ROM
- Nintendo - SNES / Famicom (bsnes-mercury Balanced) --> Sad face after starting a ROM
- Nintendo - SNES / Famicom (Snes9x) --> Black screen, nothing happens. However I am able to open the game menu (long pressing start button) to exit the game.
Did I miss something, or did I something fundamental wrong?
Thanks
Casper
Thatās how itās been since a while back, we can only hope there are improvements further along. There is also a few emulators not working in the windows version. But surely more working.
Okay, thank you for that information.
