@tor.gunnar.berland any ideas on my memory issue.
I have reset my Kodi build on one of the Vero 4K+ and just added the Mysql connections in as well as the paths. The only additional Add-In is the Universal Movie Scraper but that’s it.
It still crashes on the Movies tab if I scroll around but if I go in via the Video option and then to my Movies share it is ok (it seems)
You wrote logs are not showing anything. Are that debug enabled logs?
Yes, that’s debug logs and component logs enabled.
Here is a log though from last night, unfortunately I had switched of debug mode at this point. It crashed around 4 times at just after 22:00 last night. I notice there a couple of warnings, do you think the issue could be with some ropey data coming back from mysql for some reason?
That is only tmdb addon so should not be related. Anyhow suggest enable debug logging and also afterwards check the kodi.old.log
Best is just upload all logs vua MyOSMC directly after the crash
I think @sam_nazarko should look into this. It is new to this version, previous release version does not have these issues (I have around 10.000 movies on my system - no, I have not seen memory issues at all on release version).

Any ideas, presumably whatever is eating the memory is starting before the end of the log. It doesn’t though start until I click on the Movies menu item and then as far as I can tell start going down the list and then stop.

OT for here I know but is anything on Youtube even in 4K? DD? Is there a recent guide to getting search on Youtube to use the API? I have not got this to work since I joined beta…
Yes, it crashes then. Didn’t grab the kernel log so not sure what that contains.
However what I did fine is it is something to do with this particular folder, which is in the logs I uploaded

Yes, at least I had a demo in 4K HDR and DD. I think I searched for “Atmos” and that showed up.

If I leave it running for a while it suddenly gets audio sync and then it works, but this takes 4-5 minutes minimum. This started happening after an update the 4th or 5th of july.
- 21/06/2021: HDR improvements, fix hang on exit.
- 02/07/2021: VC-1 playback improvements, Live TV improvements
- 05/07/2021: further VC-1 fixes
Can I revert to the previous version to test and see if it goes back to working again? Could it be related to the VC-1 changes?
Some stuff I have tested is to change the GUI resolution, no effect, and the audio passthrough, also no change. When I disable HW accel then audio works but I get some CPU issues on high-resolutions so it is not a workable solution, just a workaround.
Please let me know if I should create a separate discussion for this issue.

Ah ok thanks for your help so far.
Well having removed this particular file I will see if it eliminates the issues going forward. Just need to get the config back to the same as the other box and see.
Hi, yes it could be related to the VC-1 fixes. Can you turn on and post debug logs (especially the video debug and a/v sync timing log messages) and then reproduce that issue?
