Your missing a 49 in your source list. Check the first post in this thread as it has been updated. Once you fix this file you can run apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade

Thanks for the quick reply. Back in business

I can confirm green screen is fixed on my Vero. Also chapter skips are now working. 4.9.113-28-osmc

Hi Sam,

Just tried Docker and it still isn’t working - ‘addrtype’ still not found when running dockerd. Kernel checker shows the below:

If I try to run dockerd I get (this is the same as prior to the 29th December release, but worked fine on 3.x kernel):

Has this been fixed in this Build?

It’s this problem: Docker not working since Buster update - #4 by dillthedog

I just downloaded the 4.9.113-28 image and the config file says

Yep - that was my thread and Sam confirmed the issue would be resolved in the next kernel update. The new update says “Add support for Docker” but unless I’m missing something the fix hasn’t been added? I doubt myself because I’m not a programmer but cannot find any way of getting Docker working now.

The config file confirms it’s not in the 4.9.113-28 kernel.

I reply to myself, and yes this definitely has been fixed!

The redness should be back, but are you having to turn up the contrast (I don’t think there were any changes to that)?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Most movies I Tested it was enough to increase brightness by 1 or 2%

I currently have my vero running through an oppo 203 to take advantage of the tone mapping as my projector needs the hdr to sdr conversion. Is it automatic on the vero or there are settings to play with?

There are no settings specifically for HDR-SDR. If you play HDR on a display that doesn’t support HDR vero will convert to SDR.

Brightness and contrast can be adjusted for each movie.

Ok thanks. I’ll do a quick comparison to see the difference. My projector accepts an 18gps signal but I need to change the color space manually to bt.2020.

Does your PJ specifically support HDR10? BT2020 is only a colourspace. For HDR10 you need a BT2100/ST2084 EOTF as well. What model is it?

Yes it does. It’s a JVC RS500. The built in HDR settings render a picture that is too dark. The HDR to SDR conversion provides a much better and brighter option.

Ah JVC! AIUI, you can load custom tonemaps into them. Have you searched AVSforums?

Yeah. I could never get comfortable with having to hook my laptop up to the projector and mess around with it that way. I guess I need a little more courage lol.

running latest test version, noticing some sad-face events on chapter skips, just done a bit of mkv testing from 4K rips. Not sure if this gives anything useful.

EDIT: wonder if this is because I happened to be playing with sending hi-res audio to the AVR via PCM, I’ve seen that crash playback before, passthrough may be good.
