Fantastic news! Has there been any changes/fixes to the 3D macroblocking issue, or is that still in the manufacturer’s hands?
Not yet. We will update the relevant threads when we have news.
Sam

Hello everyone, is there any chance to view lldv support for vero 4k + in the future?
There are some other threads which discuss DV support in more detail. For now, no.
Some of the other threads Sam is alluding to are this one:
A few days ago I started noticing some Dolby Vision UHD remuxed titles being “available”. It seems that it’s now possible to remux 4K UHD Dolby Vision titles along with lossless audio into a MP4 container. I haven’t obtained these as yet or tried playing them so not sure if Vero supports this or not.
Will Vero4K+ support playing Dolby Vision titles at some point if it doesn’t already?
and this one:
I know that the Vero devices don’t support DV playback and those files get played in HDR10 instead, at least my TV switches to HDR when playing DV files on the Vero. I am just wondering if that ends up with worse image quality vs a “native” HDR10 file? For example, if I’m looking at two movies like this:
Movie.UHD.BluRay.2160p.TrueHD.Atmos.7.1.DV.HEVC.REMUX
Movie.2160p.UHD.BluRay.REMUX.HDR.HEVC.Atmos
Should I get the second one since that doesn’t need to be “converted” when being played back …
