Transmission 4+ and instruction for App Store contributions

I would like to have a transmission 4+ version on my OSMC box. That supports a mobile-friendly remote web UI and plenty of bug fixes.

I could have tried to add it myself for RPI4 to the AppStore, but I have zero idea how to contribute to app store in OSMC, which are requirements for the package to be “tested”, whether the project AppStore accepts contributions and so on. Would be great to have a contribution guide or clarification whether it’s possible!

Very sorry to necro this thread, I figured it would be better than starting a new one.

I don’t suppose there’s any news on Transmission 4, please? The team are now six fix versions into stable 4.0.x, and 4.1.0 is in its second beta. The rewritten web client in 4.x is meant to be substantially better than the old one and the service is apparently considerably lighter-weight.
