Trouble with OSMC RF Remote

Hello, for few days now, my remote is not working well.
When I press a button it only respond once in a while (but the blue light is always flashing well) and it happens with every button. I try to change the battery cell but it’s still the same.
When I go to setting/system/Input/peripherals the line “OSMC RF Remote” disappears always every time I press any button (and reappear after 1 or 2 sec.
Does anyone knows how to fix it?

Can you post a log via My OSMC?

There’s a lot of log spam from playback of a file there.
Can you reboot, reproduce issue with remote and re-upload the logs?

Thanks

Sam

Is it better?

Yes, thanks.

I can see the dongle keeps disconnecting and re-connecting. This is why you are having problems.

Some suggestions:

  1. Try the other USB port.
  2. Are there any other peripherals connected to the device? If they’re using too much power, or the power supply is marginal, then this could explain the dropout.

I’ve already try the other USB slot and yes, I have 2 hard drive 1To 2’5 on a powered USB hub on the other slot.
But I’ve got them for few years now and it was working well until recently.

Power supplies can degrade over time.
I’d suggest temporarily unplugging those drives to see if it fixes the issue.

Unfortunately same issue happens without the USB hub plugged in.
