Turn wifi dongle into an access point

Hi Guys,

Ok so the wifi signal in my livingroom isnt that strong and with only 1 data socket I was wondering how easy it would be to turn a wifi dongle into an AP.

RPI2 with OSMC

There are guides on how to do this with Rasbian but I was wondering if anything would be missing if I followed one of them and tried to put this on OSMC install?

It’s called tethering and OSMC supports it if your wifi dongle driver supports it.
