Unable to locate package hdparam

Hi,

I want to reduce my HDD usage. So I try to install hdparam but it seems that there’s lack of repository…

-> % sudo apt-get install hdparam
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package hdparam

Any ideas how to fix it?

Are you sure you don’t mean hdparm

You don’t need this for spindown by the way, OSMC already handles this for you

you’re absolutely right! I’ve made a typo :smiley:

btw after which time OSMC will spin down my HDD? also how to test it if it is working?
