Update Connectivity Issue

When attempting to update via my OSMC I get a connectivity issue. On my OSMC it indicates “OSMC November 2020 2020.11-1”. Here is what I have tried without success:

  1. Apply hot fix ucawobahij (no indication that anything actually happened)
  2. Unplugged ethernet and switched to WIFI
  3. apt update from command line. Response below (/ replaced with - as I am only allowed 5 links in the post):

  1. apt dist-upgrade produces a bunch of Errors examples below:

Err:1 Index of /debian buster/main armhf base-files armhf 10.3+deb10u10
404 Not Found [IP: 199.232.162.132 80]

I am a novice and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Please try the below:

sudo apt-get update --allow-releaseinfo-change
sudo apt dist-upgrade

If updates complete, reboot and check for updates again.

Thanks Tom.

This should indeed do the trick.

I’d suggest keeping on top of updates in the future however.

Thanks, that fixed the issue for me as well.
Had a 18.9 build of 2020 and apparantly the auto update stopped without being noticed (I only use Kodi for playing from my NAS, which worked just fine).
Now back to latest version again lol:)

Hi,

This worked for me too. Had connectivity issues with My OSMC updates and errors similar to the original poster via the command line update method. The commands posted here sorted it out.
All working as it should now with the new Kodi v20 update.
Many thanks,

Douglas.
