Hey peeps,
Just updated this morning from July 23 on my Vero V and got this error.
Error installing: vero564-image-4.9.269-64-osmc:arm64
It then said contact OSMC forums.
Any ideas? Do I just ignore?
Thanks
Edit. Ouch, ok nothing plays back now.
To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh
method invoking command grab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

Thank you for the response!
Not sure how to reproduce the event that caused it was during an update.
Log files are here

Thank you
Just reboot and upgrade again and things should go through just fine

Looks like the latest is not available to download, am going with version before. Maybe that’s what happened during the update?
Thanks
Not related. The latest update is available and has been downloaded by many users.
Your log also shows that you installed that update
From what I can see it looks like you had a drop in network connectivity during the update.
Wanted to close this out, I am up and running with the latest update. Thank you for your help!
