Hi there again,
just as a conclusion to the Problem I had with the last Update not finishing and leaving me with the old kernel:
I did the January Update this morning and it worked like a charm. 
I have now Kodi 2017.18-1 with kernel 4.9.29-15-osmc
I hope that is what it should be!
