From SSH:

I seem to have solved my issue I think. I restored the sources.xml and I was able to download and install the December update. However it seems that my tv is not picking up kodi / osmc so that means my hdmi (cec) remote no longer works
I have also had this problem for a few weeks. Until now I haven’t had time to do anything as my wife wanted to watch TV.

Just try again, seems there was an issue with the mirrors when you ran the update.
Failed to fetch http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/jessie/main/i18n/Translation-en Hash Sum mismatch
The major update installed a couple of days ago but I still get a message each day saying update failed, report to forum.
Nothing to worry about, just means a geographical mirror near you hasn’t fully synced some new files
In a few minutes it will work fine again
