Updating library not working | OSMC Pi3 | 'WARNING: No information found for item'

Hi guys,

I purchased my first Raspberry this week and been actively trying to get it going ever since. As my knowledge is rather limited its been an uphill battle but a fun challenge. Up till now I managed to get my OSMC up and running including Sonarr & Transmission and these downloads get indexed perfectly. The problem I’m running into is that my “old files” are not showing in the library.

I connected my HDD (Seagate Expansion Drive) to the Pi which is mounted on /media/ and I can access videos on it through “Videos” → “Files” after I loaded them in through Root Files System. However, they refuse to load in the library. I noticed that files I put on my HDD that came with a .nfo or .idx file are getting loaded into the library, though unfortunately this is only a small portion.

Here is my logfile: http://paste.osmc.io/rujuwuquke

As far as I can figure out the problem is that the scraper can’t retrieve the information. I checked the naming guidelines, that’s not it. What could the problem be?

Greatly appreciate your time!

P.s. As mentioned, I’ve been struggling quite a bit so there might be a couple of other error messages in that log from the last couple of days. Sorry bout that.

How are your files organized?
As those are tvshows, are they in a subfolder that is named correctly?
