Upgrading Raspberry Pi

Hi. I currently have the original Raspberry Pi running OSMC, but today, I will be getting a new Raspberry Pi 3 B+. To my understanding, they both need a different version of OSMC, so I’d like to know if there’s any possible way of upgrading my existing installation so that I don’t have to mess around re-adding all my sources and essentially trying to make the new one exactly like the old one.

Is this possible?

Which model exactly?

Thanks for your response. It’s the Raspberry Pi Model B.

Then you would need to use the Backup Function in MyOSMC and restore that when you have setup your Pi3
